In Outreach the service users take part in a varied selection of sessions, all with the aim of building self-esteem, refreshing daily living skills and learning new ones, that can be used both at home and out and about.
In a happy safe environment, the service users cook their own lunch and learn about keeping themselves safe with the help of the local Police. Many of our service users take an active role in the local community, where they participate in voluntary work.
The group swim, play football, using the local amenities, traveling on public transport where they have been ‘Travel trained’. Many of them have set up the local ‘Keep Safe’ project along with local shopkeepers and police.
As well as all their hard work, we also find time to have fun, eat out, and go on day trips. They also do lots of artwork and written projects on chosen topics which are relevant at the time.
